Power Supply

When considering a fire alarm system, an important element to consider is the power supply. Fire alarms must be able to operate in an emergency, so therefore needs a reliable power supply. This means deciding on a back up to the mains supply, which can be provided via batteries and/or generator supply. A power supply unit can provide a regulated energy supply, with long stand by time and the option to fit more batteries for additional back up.
